3 Tips To Help Get Your Home Ready For Listing Or Living
Many times our clients ask us to come to their house to give them suggestions on how they could prepare the house to go to market. We give them the suggestions, they implement them and often when they are done they ask themselves, "Why didn't we do this sooner? We could have been living like this for the last 5 years!". Our suggestion is whether or not you are looking to list your home or just be happier living in it you follow these suggestions and tips to enjoying your home now while also keeping it in great condition to sell later! 1. Clean It Up!
You know what makes a world of difference? A clean house. This means before listing go through your house and reorganize, declutter, and deep clean. Make your home look its best.

2. Service/Upkeep Appliances
Another simple maintenance job that makes a significant difference is to make sure all your appliances and utilities are working. That means replacing batteries in smoke detectors, replacing burned out light bulbs, A/C cleaned, and all other appliances are clean and operating.
3. Fix It Aesthetically!
This is just as vitally important as the two other tips. Make sure your yard is looking sharp and manicured. This is the first impression a potential buyer gets from your home. Update chandeliers, sconces, and bathroom lighting fixtures.In addition, take note of any cosmetic issues in your home. This includes, marks, smudges, paint chips, holes, replace worn carpet and normal wear and tear. Those may go unnoticed while living in your home, but a potential buyer will immediately notice those blemishes.
